E-governance at Urban Local Bodies (ULB’s) is aimed to provide online citizen services, information to all hierarchies and monitoring performance of ULB’s.

Citizens approach the Municipality for several reasons - to pay their tax dues, get Birth or Death certificates, procure approvals for construction of buildings or to run a business and so on. Through its E-governance program, Tambaram municipality hopes to provide easy access to the municipality and municipal records to its citizens. Towards this end we are dedicating several information access points at banks, Citizen Centres and Information & Facilitation Counters. Through E-governance, the services of Tambaram Municipality will be made easily accessible, transparent, accountable and quick.
